Joyce
Tenneson is one of the most respected photographers of
our time having been named “One of the Ten Most
Influential Women Photographers in the History of Photography”,
in American Photo Magazine’s recent poll.
Her work has graced the magazine covers of Time, Life, Entertainment
Weekly, Newsweek, Premier, Esquire,
and The New York Times Magazine. Her work has
been exhibited in galleries around the world and are
housed in many museums. This past summer,
we
were pleased to show work from her recent book Flower
Portraits, the Life Cycle of Beauty. In these “toned” photographic
portraits, she approached her subject with the recognition
that every phase of their life was fascinating, and she
captured different aspects of their personality as they
unfolded, bloomed and withered on their way from birth
to death. Our exhibit also included her most recent color
flower portraits which have a hauntingly beautiful quality,
photographed against a black background.
All
of Ms. Tenneson’s photographs are in a limited edition
of 25 numbered and signed archival Gielee Prints. They
are offered in two sizes:
11" x
14" prints are $1,000.00 unframed; $1,200.00 framed
20" x 24" prints are $2,000.00 unframed; $2,250.00 framed
